After a very long wait indeed, Leicester Blue Sox are delighted to announce their plans to resume adult baseball practice on Wednesday 31st March.
Following this evening’s announcement from the government regarding the full resumption of community sport (subject to clarity on specific sport guidance), the Sox are aiming to hit the ground running at the earliest possible opportunity.
Adult player registration is now open – you can sign up for the season, or for the first month of training sessions to see how you go.

We expect pre-season fixtures will take place during May, with the opening day of our regular season slated for early June.
We will not be collecting any membership fees until May, so you can register now - knowing that all of our activities in March and April will be absolutely free.
Our intention will be to run training sessions on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings during April, with a field renovation date also to be scheduled for mid-to-late April.
The club are also exploring the possibility of resuming kids baseball at Western Park but there are a number of challenges with this due to expected Covid protocals, as well as the number of coaching staff needed to run those sessions in a Covid secure way.
