Leicester Blue Sox youngsters Arnav Rai and Wyatt Bryson will be heading to the CEB European Baseball Championship Qualifier next month after being selected for the Great Britain u12 National Team.
Both players have previously been decorated with u10 National Team honours and caught the eye of GB u12 Head Coach Eric Anderson during trials held earlier this year.
Rai and Bryson will be part of the 17-player GB squad heading to Trebic in the Czech Republic during the first week of July. Their tournament campaign gets underway against Romania at 9am UK time on Tuesday 2nd July.
The remainder of their schedule comprises of group games against Ukraine, Lithuania, Austria and Slovakia. The top-rated team from this Qualifier tournament will progress to next year’s European Baseball Championship.
