As part of their pre-season preparations, Leicester Blue Sox will be holding a FREE beginners tryout day on Sunday 6th March at Western Park between 10am-12pm.
This taster session is designed to give those new to baseball or new to the club an introduction to our coaching staff as well as two hours basic skills and training. We welcome adult players of all ages and abilities. The minimum age is 14 (attained in 2022) and players under 18 will need parental consent.
The tryouts are ideal for those interested in getting into baseball and keen to give it a go before our regular pre-season practice begin the following week.

What to bring:
· Football boots or baseball cleats (ground will be quite soft)
· Baseball glove (if you have one, or we can loan you a club glove)
· No equipment is necessary (we will have bats, helmets etc. for all drills)
· Water for hydration
· Dress appropriate for weather conditions (ie warm sportswear, rain jacket etc.)
