Blue Sox announce 2024 pre-season schedule

Leicester Blue Sox are gearing up for the 2024 season and have announced their pre-season plans for February and March.
Pre-season training
Training will return to Western Park on Sunday 18th February with sessions running weekly on Sunday between 2pm and 4pm.
The full programme of dates are as follows:
Sunday 18th February 2.00pm-4.00pm
Sunday 25th February 2.00pm-4.00pm
Sunday 3rd March 2.00pm-4.00pm
Sunday 10th March 2.00pm-4.00pm
Sunday 17th March TBA*
*We have earmarked Sunday 17th March as a potential date for field renovations. There is also some additional work being undertaken by a contractor during the following week. After which the baseball diamond be unavailable to use for three to four weeks whilst those ground works settle down.
Pre-season warm-up games
We are expecting to arrange a schedule of warm-up games on the following dates:
Sunday 24th March
Sunday 31st March
Sunday 7th April
With the Western Park baseball field out of action across this period, we do expect these games to be on the road - potentially coinciding with the opportunity of the Herts Spring League.
